Where to Play Solitaire and Other Card Games Online?

In this modern time or let say digital age, technologies are evolving faster as you can imagine. Not only having super computer, cool gadgets, and of course entertainment or leisure is also keeping up with different tools available today.

The content of this post is let you show appreciation of some of the forms of entertainment as we all used to know. They are now available online, which is accessible anytime, anywhere whether your using computer, tablet, and mobile phones.

Before, every time I see a set of cards, I play solitaire. And I used to play other card games too with my friends.

So getting up a chance to appear on my searches, to my surprise, there are different version to play solitaire. Wow! Amazing.

Classic Solitaire game

And oh, I tried the classic one. At first and I thought, it is easy to win. But, hey! NOT! Playing a set of cards online feels a bit different but it's ok. I have managed and almost win the game, but, yeah! ALMOST. hahaha, I did not win.

You want to try it too? Go and head on to Solataire.org. You can also check a list of dozens of free solitaire games near the bottom of the pages.

I'm a fan of card games. So I tried another one called Thirty One. This is new for me so I decided to get the details and go for it.

Thirty One

To win, it says try to score as close as to 31 as you can win a single suit or get 3 of a kind. Pass when you have a good hand and the player with the worst card loses. Oh that easy.

As you all know, Aces worth 11, face cards (Jack, Queen, and King) worth 10, and all other cards are worth their corresponding numerical value.

I tried so many times and my goal is to get the perfect score of 31. Unlucky, the only highest score I've got is 30.5 with three Kings! One of the players got 30.5 with three 9's. Funny right :) Well, that's how it's played.

Thirty One - a card game

So, to move forward, the site is also offer other collections of games and here are some of the favorites.

Since we are celebrating Halloween, check this out! I played Halloween Mahjong. I am not a fan of mahjong, but this one is super easy to deal with. You can play it online without downloading the software.

Halloween Mahjong

Since online, before you start the game there is always rules to follow. Unlike, playing the actual mahjong and experimenting the game, here it will now allow you to do so. It will not work automatically.

Playing mahjong online is a combination of 2 of the same mahjong stones to remove them from the laying fields. You only can use free stones, a free stone is not covered by another stone and at least 1 side(left or right) is open.

As you can see, for your to make it a top player, you need to reach level 50.

I love clicking and matching the same stone. All you have to do is to tap it to open when selecting the pair.

If you are a fan of hide and seek, this works on me and also I think this will also works on you. Finding the online hidden object puzzle games. I choose finding the object in the Hidden Kitchen.

Hidden Kitchen

It is a 10-level culinary themed game. There is a time limit. So, when I tried to locate and find those materials / things from the right and check the kitchen on the left. I even zoom it out to look for, but didn't find all them. I fail most of the time trying this game. Sign of aging? nah!

Here's the tip. If your going the try Hidden Kitchen, you need to have have a good eyesight or let say with a 202/20 vision an a keen attention to detail. This will give you an advantage to win.

Finding objects - Hidden Kitchen

I also tried connect 3 games (Zuma ball shooters or candy crush type games). My kids and I are playing Candy crush. So, I tired Candy House, Zuma and Treasures of Atlantis.

Candy House - is candy crush inspired tile games.

Candy House - a Candy Crush inspired tile games

Treasures of Atlantis

A 25 level connects 3 games.

Zuma Ball

A 10-level tile matching ball shooter game which is a fusion of Zuma and pinball

There is so much fun to try-out. There is other fun online games (like pacman, tennis, etc.)

Cookie monster

This is a PacMan inspired game where the ghosts turn into cookies when you eat a power pellet.

I enjoy playing on this one. It brings back memories (pacman games).

Daily Word Search

Play a 12x12, 14x14 or 16x16 words search puzzle games with a new puzzle every day.

Playing word search is like crossword puzzle. I used to play this on any newspaper's just for fun.

Daily Word Search

Letter Scramble

Scrabble-style online game where you spells as many word as you can before the time runs out.

If your looking for fast eye catch challenge, this one is for you. Test you vocabulary and try to find significant in a letter scramble. I know this is fun.

Letter Scramble

Tennis

This is a 1 versus 1 tennis match against the computer. Tried it but lost. Can't control my timing and speed when hitting back the ball passing to the net.

I hope I entertain you somehow. Do visit https://www.solitaire.org/ and also try to experience and play your favorite card games online.

Star Wars X-Wing Fighter Flying Game

All Access to Online Gaming for Free!

Staying safe at home is still our main goal. It's been a while that we are doing everything (work, schooling) in the comforts of our home. I'm sure that there are times we got bored and got nothing else to do. So, some of us started binge-watching, learning home-cooking or baking, diy's and gardening, fitness journey by having a home workout session with the family or trying out almost every challenge found on the internet. And yet here we are, still got tons of time to kill. And with the rainy season, we need to have a lot of options, and a pool of activities that can be fun and entertaining yet safe and also educational, for the kids and even for the whole family.

Online Games is the Key! I have found this browser-based online games website with tons of games available to play for FREE. It's safe to use, it's fun and very entertaining. Also, the website has child-friendly games, and educational!

I did check the website out and try it myself and the good news - it's legitimately free! But of course, you need to have a computer or devices capable to access the internet for you to be able, to begin with.

As a new user, I started to browse, and check what are the available games they offer. And surprisingly, there are classic games from my childhood such as arcade classics, board games, memory games, snake games, and so much more than you can imagine. It's all there! I wanted to try them all, but for now, here are just some of the games that I was able to try and play with.

Star Wars X-Wing Fighter

This is a flying shooter game with a couple beautiful lessons, in-game pickups, and a ship you can upgrade the health and laser on.

I enjoyed playing this game. It feels that as if I am the pilot maneuvering on the aircraft and battling against the enemy. As a matter of fact, I have completed the two missions already. The Battle of Takodana and the Killer Assault Mission. For beginners, you can also start with the "Simulation" prior to going to the missions

Well, I listed below where 25 out of 40 Challenges Completed.

FRONT Line

This is a simple game that even your little one can play. It is a base defense alien invasion where players collect coins and gems to upgrade ships that fight to save Earth from an alien invasion.

Level 81: At this stage, I have already got 700K coins and enough to buy and upgrade my shooters and equipment. How did I achieve such a level? To tell you this, I didn't know that I've already spent 3 hours playing "Front Line" Well this game really did got me entertained for a while.

Ships have their health restored when they are parked at the base and two of the same type of ship can be merged into a more powerful ship. With the added games or game categories /collections they offer, I'm sure there will be something to keep you entertained. And if ever the game you want is not on the list try mentioning it on the suggestion box.

So to continue, I enjoyed browsing and try other games.

Mathematics

I tried the Multiplication Table: Online Times Table Quiz Game for Kids. It's ok to play with. It is a drag and drop setup with numbers represented by colors

This one is ideal for children whose afraid of numbers and math. I have a kid who got more excited about solving math problems in a game form. It seems like they enjoyed it more when it's more like a game than the traditional worksheets. Dealing with Math such as Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division is fun with games? Is always a yes to kids.

Here's another one: Sum Among Us Mathematics Logic Puzzle Game.

Among Us is a popular game nowadays. In this game, it is pure fun like drag-and-drop the icon/s to the correct boxes to match with the requirement - getting the correct sum/result from the given numbers.

This is a fun arithmetic logic puzzle game where players must move pieces onto the playing field to satisfy multiple sums of the parent containers at once.

Typing Games

A typewriter back in the day is necessary to create reports or documents. Nowadays, computers can be found at home or even in the Internet Lounge or Cafeteria. What do they have in common? Of course, the keyboard. They have the same QWERTY keypads.

This is a timed typing game where players have 50 seconds to type as many words as possible. I tried this one to check how fast and accurate my typing skills are when working on the keyboard.

This one is another game that does not use the back button and as soon as a single letter is incorrect the player should stop typing until the next word appears or else they will start typing the next word incorrectly. Go ahead and try it yourself!

Where to find these games? There are hundreds of them uploaded and readily available online. You can check the list of the newest added games on their website. You can also check some of the game categories such as Arcade Classics, Base Defense, Simulation games, Board games, Memory games, Mobile games, Pattern games, or Snake games (mobile phones, brick games)

How to Play and start the games

If you're using a desktop computer, you can the keyboard and or Arrow Keys or mouse that depends on the type of the game.
If you're using touchscreen devices such as tablets. you can use the on-screen controls,

WARNING: Play at your own risk :) Playing game is addictive, So Play Moderately!

As I've said these games are so fun and entertaining.

Playing Online Games can be fun and entertaining, and educational too! This can be a great brain exercise to boost memory, It can also help our brain to function when it comes to logical and analytical thinking. It can also help people to reduce stress especially during the time of a pandemic. C'mmon, test your skills and It's made all -especially to the kids and the kids at heart!
